This place has mass appeal as an entertainment venue due to its top quality restaurant, bar, and ability to draw in so many superb acts. For a guaranteed good night out, we can highly recommend Oran Mor.

SWG3

Formerly a galvanisers yard SWG3 really is a venue like no other. The eclectic space has come alive with collections of gigs, fashion shows, nightlife and even shopping all under the one roof. Although the space is set out for work and rest, play is what they do best!

Kelvingrove Bandstand

This picture-perfect venue is used for outdoor entertainment mostly in Summer, although tends to be in demand increasingly in the last 12 months. It seats 2000 people and is situated between Glasgow University and the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum.

Scottish Event Campus

Vintage and style are a combination that defines Stereo Café Bar. You’ll find it in a Charles Rennie Mackintosh building, on Glasgow’s Renfield Lane. By day delicious vegan food is served, at night the basement comes alive hosting gigs and live performances.

Broadcast

Sauchiehall Street is a mecca for late night pubs, clubs and venues and Broadcast is one of the most popular. Open daily until 3am, most gigs and sessions start at 7pm or so, followed by the clubs that run from 23.00 to 03.00hrs.

Jinty McGuinty’s was established in 1991 in Glasgow and continues to be one of the most popular bars in the city.

Comedy Clubs

The Stand Comedy Club

Open 7 nights a week for comedy and is the only full-time comedy club in Glasgow. Located in the west end of the city, weekend nights are premium and tend to book up quickly due to limited space.

The Comedy Cabaret

This comedy club is located inside the north rotunda at entertainment quay, adjacent to the SEC Hydro, Glasgow. They operate a great comedy dinner show and alumni from their early days include Alan Carr and John Bishop, not bad! Disabled access at the venue.

The Glee Comedy Club

Hilarious stand-up comedians perform every weekend a wide range of beverages are available to pre-book at the Glee bar.

Citizens Theatre

Kings Theatre Glasgow
