Liz was always helpful with getting a cab, printing ticket vouchers, answering questions, and the rest of the staff was very nice. Breakfast is delicious and convenient but be sure to book ahead. The location is divine. Close to the botanical gardens, grocery shopping, post office, public transport, and our view was of wonderful trees along the Kelvin River. The street is quiet and charming.Verified A perfect stay We stayed 9 nights in the three persons studio. A very clean and comfortable place, the décor is modern and very pleasant, with attention to detail. Embassy Apartments are located in a very quiet street facing the beautiful botanic gardens, but just 5 minutes walk from Great Western Road and West End amenities. A supermarket is 5 minutes walk, a bus stop is just opposite the Hotel and the nearest subway station is only 10 minutes walk. Parking was a real plus. An apartment with the service of a hotel as the Ambassador Hotel reception is just next door. The staff is always friendly and professional, Neil is an excellent hotel manager. lovely breakfast, with table served hot choices. We strongly recommend Embassy Apartments.Verified Superficially great but a few details were off We were in room 1, which was very spacious with a river view (and possibly the most plug sockets I have ever seen in a hotel room). The location was great and check in and out very easy. However, there were a few niggling issues - the cutlery selection seemed rather random (2 forks and teaspoons but an entire service of steak knives?), the duvet was a little old and tired looking, and the mattresses of the two joined beds were slightly different heights.Verified Great base Very good location and free parking was an obvious asset! Apartment was a small hotel room with corner kitchen, so was ideal as a base for days out and self-catering. All the basics necessary for a short break. Big, clean, nice kitchen which was well equipped and a modern bathroom. The staff was nice and helpful, the breakfast amazing! Freshly made fully cooked breakfast and porridge. Toast, cereals, only the fruit salad was lame. I would put whole fresh fruit like apples on display instead of tinned fruit salad. They only get 4 points because of the paint incident, the door was freshly painted, there was a sign we did not see while checking in, but a word at the reception would have been thoughtful and saved my backpack. But overall a very pleasant experience, good location, parking, bus and subway near by and directly opposite the botanical gardens!Verified Great and Spacious Room for 3! Lovely 3 person suite with an efficiency kitchen and private bath. Be aware that there are stairs to carry the luggage up, so if that’s an issue, ask for the bottom floor once you’re in the building in order to minimize that. The location was nice and within easy walking distance to the botanical gardens, restaurants, and cafes. Das Apartment war sehr schön und das Personal freundlich. Das Haus liegt direkt am Botanischen Garten und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sowie Supermärkte, Cafe's und Pubs sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Zimmer war groß und top sauber. Handtücher, Fön, Seife, USB-Steckdosen bis zur vollausgestatteten Küche mit Kühlschrank, E-Herd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Toaster und Wasserkocher ist alles vorhanden. Auch Tee und Kaffee steht in der Küche zur Verfügung. Hinter dem Haus gibt es Parkplätze und bei Bedarf kann auch ein Frühstück nebenan im Ambassador-Hotel dazugebucht werden. Great location for a West End stay in Glasgow, it's now our first choice hotel. Great communication and flexibility. Rooms are spacious and provide everything you'll need for a short stay. Shower was amazing BTW. Small downside extractor fan in bathroom isn't strong enough to extract the steam. Haven't tried the breakfast yet on any of our stays, must address that soon!! I was impressed by the size and standard of the apartment, considering the price. Comfortable beds. The location is excellent, close by the Botanic Gardens. We were aware that the free parking was limited, however had a space throughout our stay. We stayed for 3 nights and was very surprised by the great value for money the rooms were. Unfortunately our booking service (not direct with the owners) stuffed up our request for two separate beds. Was travelling with my adult daughter. I spoke to Neil at reception, and he set about finding us an alternate room . Neil went above and beyond, given that it was the 3rd party booking service that didn't pass on my request. Rooms are clean. The only downside would be the available on-site parking, which is accessed via a narrow and rough driveway, accessed by a road to the rear of the apartments, that only small to medium cars should attempt. The Botanical Gardens are easily accessed from the apartments and shops are a short distance away.
