Glasgow’s Hop-on Hop-off Sightseeing bus is a fantastic and cheap way to see the city and The Embassy Apartments is a 5 mins walk from is just a few minutes walking distance from one of the many stops!

The full tour lasts approximately 75 minutes, is available in many different languages and has 21 stops. All of which are situated close to the city’s places of interest. These include; Glasgow cathedral, Glasgow Green, SECC, Glasgow Science Centre, Glasgow University, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. The Botanic Gardens is also one of the attractions of note and would be the ideal place to start as it is only 5 minutes or so from The Embassy Apartments.

Glasgow Botanic Gardens
The huge green house and beautiful botanical gardens are a great place to spend some time seeing all the wonderful flowers, plants and shrubery. The Botanic Gardens also host events and the hit GlasGlow which has had over 75,000 visitors!

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
The museum has an amazing collection of everything from paintings to natural history exhibits. In total it has 22 themed galleries filled with 8000 items. It also sits beside the lovely Kelvingrove Park where you can stroll beside the River Kelvin. The museum is open daily until 5pm and is free entry.

Glasgow Science Centre
Glasgow Science Centre is a visitor attraction located in the Clyde Waterfront Regeneration area which has had over £5 billion pounds of investment and renewal work done over recent years. The complex which hosts the Science centre and Glsagow tower is a shining example of why Glasgow is internationally loved as a great modern city.

With the Science Centre being one of Scotland’s must-see visitor attractions, it presents science and technology in unique and inspiring ways. It has lots of activities to keep visitors of all ages entertained for hours. There are two acres of interactive exhibits, workshops, shows, activities, a planetarium, the Glasgow Tower and an IMAX cinema.

Whether you are a foodie looking for great cuisine, a lover of design and architecture or simply someone who wants to shop and enjoy a bit of nightlife, the tourbus helps you find your Glasgow. Even just the views that can be taken in from the open top bus are worthwhile with the stops passing places such as the famed Glasgow School of Art, the stunning Hydro concert venue and The University of Glasgow’s historic campus.
