The Byres Road Book Festival returns to Glasgow’s West end and is a highly respected literary festival running from Thursday 26th – Sunday 29th of September 2024. This year sees an impressive lineup of guest speakers and workshop facilitators including Jenny Colgan, Denise Mina, Peter Ross, and many more.

On Thursday, September 26th at Hillhead Library tickets are available to see Jenny Colgan open the festival at an event where she talks about her Sunday Times bestseller “Close Knit”. All attendees at the event will receive a 20% discount voucher redeemable.

Friday, 27th and the focus is on Children’s books with Storytime, illustration workshops and other events starting from 10:30am in various venues around Byres Road.
